How I Mattify and Keep My Skin Hydrated
I’m always keen when it comes to choosing beauty products. I’d rather take into consideration the brand and reviews I hear and read online, than the product’s slogan or what’s stated on the packaging. It takes a lot of research before someone can convince me to try a new beauty product, specially if it’s coming from a brand I’m not familiar with. Even though I’m a beauty blogger, I don’t review products for the sake of freebies or for the sake of blogging because I always make it a point to share with you here on my blog and social media accounts products that I personally use and truly believe in (sponsored or not). Since I have relatively sensitive skin which is prone to acne as well, I’m always careful with the beauty products I use.
K-Pop Beauty Cebu
Few weeks ago, I discovered about K-Pop Beauty Cebu, which sells authentic Korean and Asian beauty products and skin care. They have beauty products from Etude House, Laneige, Missha, Innisfree, Nature Republic, Tony Moly, to name a few. I’ve always been meaning to try Korean beauty and skin care products as I have heard lots of good reviews about them and K-Pop Beauty Cebu convinced me to give some of their products a try! The beauty products that I use depend on my skin type and skin concerns because I want to avoid applying unnecessary products to my skin. So without further adieu, here’s what I recently got from K-Pop Beauty Cebu which turned out to be my favorites as well:
Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel
Moisturizers are necessary for both oily and dry skin. They are very important when it comes to treating acne as they moisten skin, avoiding sebum to build up inside pores. I’m currently using Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel as my body and skin moisturizer during day time because I love how soothing and hydrating it is without the sticky feeling we normally get from moisturizers. Since the product is made of 92% aloe vera and the aloe vera used to make this product comes from certified organic farmers in California, I don’t have to worry whether the product is safe for my skin while keeping my skin hydrated.

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream
Wearing makeup shouldn’t cover your natural beauty, but enhance it. In choosing foundation, I always lean towards those that are light-weight because I want to make it appear as natural as possible. On days when I don’t want to look too “made up”, I usually switch to BB cream instead of foundation. My current go-to BB cream is Missha’s Perfect Cover BB Cream in No. 21. Even though it’s very light on my skin, I love how it effectively covers visible wrinkles and blemishes. It will definitely go a long way since you don’t have to use much product because it’s more pigmented compared to other BB creams.

Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Pact
Newest addition to my holy grail beauty products has to be this Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Pact. I’ve been using it ever since I got it from K-Pop Beauty Cebu. Since it’s translucent, I apply it on top of my foundation or BB cream to avoid overproduction of oil as it has double sebum control system. For someone with oily skin, it effectively mattifies my skin, leaving it feeling smooth and fresh all day. With this mineral pact, I no longer have to do much makeup touch-ups. This has got to be my favorite mineral pact to date! This makes me curious whether Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder works the same too!
